In May 2023 a special event took place in the galaxy M101. A giant star located in the outer spiral arm of this galaxy, exploded as a supernova(SN 2023ixf) 21 million light-years away. I think this rare event was a need-to-have picture in my image collection. 40 frames x 240 sec, exp. 100, Zwo 485MC( cooled), skywatcher 200PDS and a lot of coffee...
