Jellyfish Nebula C 443...what a fish

Writer's picture: Henrik MortensenHenrik Mortensen

Updated: Oct 30, 2024

I caught this fish recently in the constellation Gemini, 5000 light years from earth. This beautiful nebula is likely an old supernova remnant. I was lucky to capture the object, the weather was starting to become a little hazy, and in the light polluted city like Copenhagen( bortle scale is 7-8) I should be pretty happy with the result. More to come on my astrophotography blog...

Exposure 20 x 5 min, Gain 200 on my Zwo ASI485MC.
